A new advisory tells visitors to exercise a "high degree of caution", although the Government is still encouraging visitors to go to Gallipoli for ANZAC Day.
"If we thought Australians shouldn`t go, we would say so,"
a Department of Foreign Affairs spokeswoman said.
As many as 15,000 Australians attend Gallipoli for ANZAC Day, but this year`s numbers could be substantially down.
