Day 1 - Athens & Paros - Wednesday, 13th April 2011
Arrival to Athens. Transfer from Athens airport overland to Galatas by coach. Stop at the Corinth Canal. Arrival to Poros Island by water taxi, check -in. Free time and dinner. Day 2 - Paros & Delphi - Thursday, 14th April 2011 Breakfast and hotel check -out. Transfer from Poros to Epidavros by coach and visit theatre and the Sanctuary of sklepios. Transfer to Mycenae and visit the Archaeological Site. Transfer to Nafplio and visit old town and castle. Transfer to Delphi, overnight stay with dinner. Day 3 - Delphi & Athens - Friday, 15th April 2011 Breakfast and hotel check out. Sightseeing of Delphi and Delphi's archaeological sites with guide. Return trip to Athens and overnight stay in hotel with dinner. Day 4 - Cruise Ship Piraeus to Myconos - Saturday, 16th April 2011 Breakfast and check out of hotel. Transfer to cruise ship in Piraeus port by coach. Departure from Piraeus at 11:00hrs. Cruise to the most cosmopolitan Islands in Greece - Myconos. Arrival to Myconos at 18:00hrs. Free time or optional excursions. Departure from Myconos at 22:00hrs. Overnight on board. Day 5 - Cruise Ship Patmos - Sunday, 17th April 2011 Arrival to Patmos - Island of St. John at 06:30hrs. Free time or optional excursion. Departure from Patmos at 10:00hrs and cruise to Kusadasi in Turkey. Day 6 - Crete Island & Santorini - Monday, 18th April 2011 Arrival to Heraklion city on Crete Island at 07:00hrs in the morning. Free time or optional excursion to the Knossos and visit Minoan Palace. Departure from Crete at 11:30hrs and cruise to the most beautiful Cyclades Island - Santorini. Arrive at Thira at 16:30hrs. Free time on the Island or optional excursion. Departure from Santorini at 21:00hrs. Overnight on board. Day 7 - Santorini to Samos - Tuesday, 19th April 2011 Early morning arrival to Athens to start the City Tour with Acropolis visit and free time in the Plaka of Athens. Afternoon Sounio trip and finishing in Piraeus Port to take ferry to Samos. Day 8 - Samos to Kusadasi - Wednesday, 20th April 2011 Arrival to Samos and immediate departure for ferry to Kusadasi. Transfers will be made to your hotel where you will be met by your Tour guide and checked into your room in Kusadasi. Day 9 - Ephesus & Kusadasi - Thursday, 21st April 2011 At 08:30am we depart for Ephesus (20 minutes drive) - once the commercial centre of the ancient world - is a highlight of any visit to Turkey. The city, whose wealth and patronage supported its splendid architectural program, was dedicated to the goddess Artemis. Her enormous temple, once considered one of the seven wonders of the Ancient World and rebuilt several times, dates in its latest form from the third century B.C. The tour of the ruins also includes a theatre, gymnasium, agora and baths, as well as the Library of Celsus. After lunch, we will make a shopping tour in which you will become aware of the ancient arts of Turkey like leather manufacturing and jewellery. As this will be a guided tour, you will avoid the constant nagging and sometimes bullying that is well known in the markets of Turkey. Enabling you to enjoy the shopping experience whilst gaining the knowledge of the ancient craftsmen. Overnight in Kusadasi. Day 10 - Bergama & Assos - Friday, 22nd April 2011 Today we drive to Pergamum (45 minutes drive) - see Asklepion, Zeus alter, the Red Bassilcia etc. BERGAMA is the site of the Hellenistic - and later Roman city of Pergamon, ruled for several centuries by a powerful local dynasty. Its foremost attraction is the Kizil Avlu or "Red Basilica", a huge edifice on the river not far from the acropolis, originally built as a temple to the Egyptian god Osiris and converted to a basilica by the early Christians, when it was one of the Seven Churches of Asia Minor addressed by St John in the book of Revelation - though sadly it's now a crumbling ruin with a mosque in one of its towers. After Pargamum we continue towards the city of Assos. Overnight Boutique hotel in Assos. Day 11 - Assos & Troy - Saturday, 23rd April 2011 After breakfast we will explore the ancient city of Assos before we drive to Troy where you can explore the site of the legendary town, made famous by Homer in his Iliad and visit the Temple of Athena. Overnight Boutique hotel in Assos. Day 12 - Gallipoli Tour - Sunday, 24th April 2011 We depart for Gallipoli at 7:00am (4.5 hours drive). On the way we will have the chance to watch the latest documentary on the Gallipoli Campaign. A stop will be provided on the way down for supplies. We start our tour of the Gallipoli Peninsula a little after midday. We will visit Kabatepe War Museum, ANZAC Cove, Ari Burnu, Beach Cemetery, Unknown Soldier Monument, Lone Pine Australia’s Memorial and Cemetery, Quinns Post, Turkish 57th Regiment Memorial, The Nek, the original tunnels and trenches at Johnston Jolly (Turkish and Allied), and Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial and Cemetery. After the tour we drive to the coast of Gabatepe for our big ANZAC BBQ and buffet dinner (optional). At approx 09:30pm we will depart for the ANZAC Dawn Service. Overnight at ANZAC Cove. If you dont want to stay outside at the ANZAC Commemorative Site overnight, we provide optional hotel accomodation at Gallipoli. This option is not available after your arrival in Turkey, pre-booking is required. Day 13 - Gallipoli Dawn Service - Monday, 25th April 2011 Don't forget your sleeping bags, warm clothes, wet weather gear and torches because Gallipoli is still as dark and as cold today as it was 96 years ago when our ancestors landed. Please bring your hat, sunscreen and good walking shoes! Optional we provide sleepings bags for rent, please let us know at time of booking.

Day 14 - Istanbul City Tour - Tuesday, 26th April 2011 We depart from the hotel at 08:30am for the Istanbul city tour. TOPKAPI PALACE: The great palace of the Ottoman sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries housing an exquisite collection of crystal, silver, and Chinese porcelain, robes worn by the sultans and their families, the famous jewels of the Imperial Treasury, miniatures, the Holy Mantle; enshrining relics of the Prophet Mohammed. SULTANAHMET IMPERIAL MOSQUE: Across from St. Sophia built in the 16th century by the architect Mehmet, is known as the BLUE MOSQUE because of its magnificent interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles. HIPPODROME: Ancient Hippodrome, the scene of chariot races, with the three monuments; the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine. Lunch break and then we head to the SPICE BAZAAR (Egyptian Bazaar) The air here is filled with the enticing aromas of cinnamon, caraway, saffron, mint, thyme and every other conceivable herb and spice. After the Istanbul city tour you have the option to experience a Bosphorus cruise, you will have the chance to enjoy magnificent views of the Bosphorus straigt which is connecting Asia to Europe. Overnight 4 star hotel in Istanbul. Day 15 - Istanbul & Cairo - Wednesday, 27th April 2011 After breakfast check out from the hotel and depart by international flight to Egypt. Arrival to Cairo airport. From the airport you will be transferred by a private A/C car to your hotel and overnight in Cairo. (No Meals) Day 16 - Cairo Egypt - Thursday, 28th April 2011 Breakfast. Start your full day visiting the Egyptian museum of antiquities. Collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to the Tut-Ankh-Amon collection of treasures, gold, and jewelry, as it was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920s when his tomb was excavated. Visit the great Pyramids - Cheops, Chephren & Mykerions. Cheops is the most colossal ever built. Next is a close-up look at Sphinx - a huge funeral complex guarded by the legendary lion body with the face of king Chephren. Then visit Khan El Khalili Bazaars. Shops in this district are legendary for fine brassware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques …etc. transfer you to the Cairo station to catch the Sitting train to Luxor. Day 17 - Luxor Egypt - Friday, 29th April 2011 Luxor. Arrival, meet & assist by our local representatives and transfer to the M/S Nile Cruise. Boarding before Lunch. Lunch on board. Visit The Temple of Karnak & the Temple of Luxor. Afternoon tea. Dinner on board & Belly Dance show. Overnight in Luxor. Day 18 - Edfu Egypt - Saturday, 30th April 2011 Breakfast. Visit The West Bank, the Valley of the Kings, Valley of The Queens and The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. Lunch on board. Sail to Esna. Afternoon Tea. Disco Party. Overnight in Edfu. Day 19 - Kom Ombo Egypt - Sunday, 1st May 2011 Breakfast on board. Visit the temple of Horus in Edfu. Sail to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board. Visit the Temple shared by the two Gods Sobek & Haroeies in Kom Ombo. Afternoon Tea. Dinner on board & Galabeya party Overnight in Kom Ombo. Day 20 - Aswan Egypt - Monday, 2nd May 2011 Breakfast on board. Sail to Aswan. Visit the High Dam, the Granite Quarries & The Temple of Philae Lunch on board. Sail on the Nile by felucca around Kitchener’s island and Elephantine. Afternoon Tea. Dinner on board. Overnight in Aswan. Day 21 - Pyramids Egypt - Tuesday, 3rd May 2011 Breakfast on board. Disembarkation after breakfast. (Optional trip to Abu Simble by plane), Free time. Transfer to Aswan airport and departure by plane to Cairo. Arrival, meet and assist by our representatives transfer to the hotel, overnight in hotel. (Optional Sound and Light) laser show at Pyramids. Day 22 - End Of Your Tour - Wednesday, 4th May 2011 After breakfast, please check out from your room before 11:00am, as your ANZAC day tour ends today. Our representative will transfer you to the airport and assist you at the airport through final departure formalities.
